Food delivery driver 'robbed' by three men
POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an alleged robbery in Dale End Road, Carlisle, in the early hours of Wednesday.
Officers were called to the incident at 2.15am after a 26-year-old man was delivering food and alcohol and was threatened by three males who made off with the delivery, said police.
The man suffered minor injuries.
Three men were arrested and charged with robbery: Billy Moorhead, 34, of Hawick Street, Carlisle;George Alexandru-Pruna, 28, of Warwick Square, Carlisle and Jonathan Rodger, 41, of Cumwhinton Road, Carlisle.
All three are to appear at North West Magistrates tomorrow.
