Critical care team were operating on Wolf Crag near Keswick.
On Sunday the critical care team for GNAAS were activated at 1.46pm to Wolf Crags near Keswick.
After reports of a paraglider crash they arrived on the scene in 11 minutes.
They worked alongside a Keswick Mountain Rescue Team member and Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team to assess and treat the patient who was airlifted to hospital.
The team arrived back on base at 3:30pm, ready for their next mission.
