A594 at Dovenby reopens.
Following a collision involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian yesterday - the A594 at Dovenby was closed due to investigation by authorities.
Police have announced the route has now opened.
Officers were called out at around 2pm by NWAS to the report.
The pedestrian woman was in her 70s and taken to the Cumberland Infirmary by air ambulance.
The rider of the motorcycle was uninjured.
