A MAN who recently left prison has once again been jailed after he admitted breaching a restraining order for the fith time. .

Jordan Dobson, 29, of Birks Road in Cleator Moor, appeared at Workington Magistrates Court on Monday, January 19.

He faced one charge of breaching a restraining order imposed by North and West Cumbria Magistrates Court on January 28 2019.

The court heard Dobson was at an address on Meadow Road on July 16, and that he was prohibited from doing so by the court order.

Dobson pleaded guilty to the charge. Magistrates committed him to prison for 12 weeks and ordered him to pay a victim surcharge of £128.

The reason behind the severity of the sentence was due to the fact that it was Dobson's fifth breach of the same order on the same victim.

Furthermore, magistrates felt the crime was made more serious by the fact he was on post sentence supervision and had recently been released from prison.

No order for costs was made due to the fact Dobson received a custodial sentence.
