WITNESSES are needed after a child was assaulted.
Cumbria Police say the assault happened at the Tesco carpark on Bransty Row between 2:50pm and 3:05pm on Saturday, June 26, 2021.
It was reported that a man had assaulted a child and then left the carpark on foot.
The child was uninjured as a result of the incident.
A spokesperson from the force said: "Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, in particular to those who have dashcam footage.
"Anyone with information is encouraged to contact 101, quoting incident number 131 of 26 June.
