An appeal for information has been launched by police after an instance of public order in Whitehaven.
Cumbria Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident of public order that occurred at around 1:30pm on June 9, in the area of Lowther Street.
It was reported to police that a woman in her 40’s, was intoxicated and used vulgar language towards members of the public.
A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: "Anyone with information is encouraged to contact PC 2424 on 101, quoting incident number 91 of 9 June.
"Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers, completely anonymously, on 0800 555 111."
