Mick promises to meet Linda for her scan but, while running late, hails a taxi. The driver, Jeanette, is also pregnant and her waters burst en route to the hospital. Mick takes the wheel, hoping he can get there in time to keep everybody happy. Later, Linda makes an announcement in the Vic that leaves Shirley’s nose out of joint.

Ruby presents the kids with a worry box and promises that everything they write and put inside will stay a secret. However, she upsets Lily by reading hers. Jean offers Ruby some advice, just as the mum-to-be doubles over in pain. She rushes to the surgery, where the doctor breaks the news that it’s highly likely she will miscarry the baby.

Rocky’s efforts to help Sonia deal with a kitchen leak backfire, and things get worse when he doesn’t show up for her Father’s Day lunch.

Ben worries that Callum is getting close to Whitney again, while Kat’s insecurities could wreck her relationship with Phil.

Coronation Street (ITV)

After spending the night in the ginnel, Nina staggers home and lies to her uncle about where she’s been.

Roy encourages her to work on her graphic novel, but instead she tears it to shreds, claiming it’s rubbish, like the rest of her life. Roy and Asha paste it back together and post photos of it online, which only makes Nina’s mood worse.

The troubled teen tries to steal another bottle of vodka from the corner shop, but is spotted by Carla who warns her that alcohol solves nothing. But Nina isn’t listening and goes on another binge, this time with Daisy and her friend Noah.

Roy is beside himself when she stays out all night again, and would be even more concerned if he knew what she has planned for Corey . . .

Gemma and Chesney are at loggerheads over whether to allow Aled to have a cochlear implant, Fiz finds Tyrone’s new look hilarious and Leanne, Simon and Nick return to the street.

Emmerdale (ITV)

Liv is at Sandra’s caravan, and it’s clear all is not well. She’s been drinking to forget what happened the previous night, but help is on its way ­— Ben and Aaron are desperate to rescue her.

Sadly, it takes them an age to locate the site and on their arrival, they find Liv in the midst of a seizure, her second in two days. Sandra is disturbed by the situation; she finally realises how self-destructive Liv has been of late and wastes no time telling her what she thinks should happen next.

Back in the village, Victoria hears all about a hungover Luke’s fight with Lee, although he still can’t be fully honest with her. Wendy decides to fill in the details, but that only seems to make the situation worse.

Elsewhere, Meena covers her tracks with David and a tipsy Leanna embarrasses herself by making a move on Billy.

Hollyoaks (C4)

Donna-Marie is thrilled when Jack Osborne lets her stay at his house. Unfortunately, her estranged daughter spots her mother thanking him the next day and immediately gets the wrong end of the stick about their relationship.

Damon tells Brody he wants to surprise Liberty by asking her to move in with him. However, his plan is scuppered by Sienna, who lashes out when Liberty confronts her about a conversation she overheard between her sister and Summer.

Later, Liberty vanishes and when Damon receives a strange text from her, he decides to investigate. He finds a farewell message from her on the Love Boat and Brody annoys Summer by saying they shouldn’t get married until Liberty is found.

Sally tries to persuade lawyer James to help her get John Paul out of prison, but he thinks only a sentence reduction is likely. She then comes up with the idea of faking some dash cam footage and asks the McQueen clan for their assistance.

Neighbours (C5)

Her stay in Erinsborough may have been short, but it’s certainly been memorable ­— it’s time to say farewell to Sheila C as she heads home to Western Australia to grieve properly for her much-missed grandmother.

But she still has the time to have a private conversation about Yashvi with Ned in the podcast booth, little realising their every word has been recorded . . .

Melanie worries about Toadie’s reluctance to tell his children about their relationship and an argument eventually ensues.

Roxy hatches a plan to scupper Amy’s trial as the Flamingo bar manager. Later, she finds some incriminating evidence against her rival and takes it to Terese in the hope of landing the job herself. However, her carefully laid plan soon falls apart.

Hendrix and Mackenzie worry about revealing their relationship to Harlow, Bea feels stressed about hitting the road with Levi and tells Karl and Susan about her big decision.

Home and Away (C5)

Tori and Christian argue about his changing perspective on life; she can’t seem to understand his need to find his inner peace, while he feels unable to explain what he’s looking for. Matters get worse when the trauma he’s suffered begins to impact on his work.

Ziggy is upset that Mac hasn’t reached out to her, but she isn’t alone ­— Mac seems determined to keep everyone at arm’s length. Ziggy does, however, manage to help Chloe and Ryder get their plan for the future off the ground, despite the scheme initially looking impossible.

Leah and Stephen continue to find confidence in each other, but eventually decide to pause their search for Susie for John’s sake, while Alf and Roo share good news about Martha’s health with Marilyn.

Bella and Nikau struggle to find time for themselves when he returns from his photoshoot in the city.
