Copeland Council has announced delays in some of their refuse and recycling collections in and around Whitehaven.
The delays are expected to affect some areas of Whitehaven, including Fell View, The Groves and Snafell Terrace, among other areas of the town.
It is not yet know when these collections will be back to normal; however, the council hopes to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
Areas of Kells, Cleator Moor, Millom, Drigg, Holmrook and St Bees are also expected to be affected by the delays to some of their recycling and refuse services but the council are said to be working to get things back to normal as soon as they can.
The council said it apologised for any delays to collections and hopes to resolve the issues quickly.
