COPELAND Council are launching a new Young Entrepreneur’s Market next month.

The monthly market will be held on King Street – starting on Saturday, June 12 – and people aged between 16 and 25 are invited to register their interest in hosting a pitch or stall to sell and showcase their wares, crafts, hobby or passion. The pitches and stalls are being offered for free at this initial launch stage.
People are encouraged to use the pitches to showcase their talents by selling crafts they have made or showcasing their hobbies and passions.
Whilst the Young Entrepreneurs Market becomes establish Copeland Borough Council will be letting participants have a stall or pitch for free as part of the initiative.
The project comes in a first of many after the council carried out a survey last year into its future market offering that received over 600 replies.
In a statement on the website Jenny Brumby, Copeland Council’s Business Liaison Officer, said: “We are excited to launch the Young Entrepreneurs Market to offer a fresh platform and exciting opportunity to Copeland’s budding entrepreneurs and talented young individuals on a regular basis.
