The list below includes some of the offenders that were put behind bars by judges during April.

James Felton Queen
A HOMELESS Carlisle man has been jailed for 80 days after he admitted flouting court' restraining order.
James Felton Queen, 45, from the city's John Street Hostel, went to an address in Raffles Avenue despite knowing he is prohibited from going with 100 yards of the property.

MAGISTRATES in Carlisle have imposed jail terms on four men for failing to pay outstanding fines.
Mark Clark, Kyle Robert Crawford, Graham Paul Carruthers and Ian Davidson were all jailed.

Raymond Harrison
A CUMBRIAN farmer who repeatedly raped one schoolgirl and molested another after grooming both with gifts of sweets and cigarettes has been handed a 20-year jail term for the historical crimes.
The female raped by Raymond Harrison several decades ago told police as she made disclosures as an adult many years later of a threat he gave her, adding: “He said nobody was to know because it had to be our secret.”

A HOMELESS man from Workington has been jailed after he admitted a spate of offending.
Carl Frank Weston, 37, pleaded guilty to five offences when he appeared at the town’s magistrates’ court.

Matthew Adam Neale
MAGISTRATES have jailed a 44-year-old Carlisle man for six weeks after he admitted flouting a restraining order.
Matthew Adam Neale, whose address was given as The County Hotel, Botchergate, breached the order by sending a letter from Acklington - though the charge does not say to whom it was addressed.
