A CUMBRIAN mountain rescue team

Penrith Mountain Rescue Team were called to assist the North West Ambulance Service in transferring a patient who became unseated from her horse a mile from the road head.

The incident took place at Chamot Hill in Kershope Forest on April 9.

However, while deploying the team were stood down as the responding air ambulance was able to reposition and access the scene.
