AN INTIMATE new music and arts festival focusing on Cumbria is looking for filmmakers and digital artists to send in entries to its short film competition.
The festival, 42 Degrees, is launching in July and is inviting entries from all over the North West, but it hopes to encourage people from Cumbria in particular.
The festival is open to entries from people of all levels of experience, and is looking for films that are five to ten minutes long, with a 15-minute maximum time limit.
Selected entries will be showcased at the 42 Degrees Festival, due to take place at the Cumbrian open-air cinema screen, The Outdoor Picture Palace.
The deadline for entry is next Monday, April 12, and requires a name and short description of the film alongside the film itself.
