Volunteers have been hard at work collecting bags of litter in Copeland.
Paula Radcliffe, Mike McKenzie, Helen McBride, Norma Wilson and Joanne Eilbeck cleaned up litter from Blacksmith’s corner, Bigrigg to the cycletrack on Woodend to Moor Row Road.
21 bags of litter were collected.
This included two traffic cones, a bucket of cement and a pair of underpants!
Also found was a comb, toothbrush, and lager bottles.
Missing from the photo is Joanne Eilbeck.
