Scam signs
RESIDENTS in Tynedale are being warned of scam text messages from people posing as banks.
Cumbria Trading Standards issued the warning recently following reports of fraudulent texts from 'Lloyds Bank'.
They said: "Beware of scam text messages!
"Scammers are always changing things to make them look legit."
Advice given:
- Don't click on the link
- Don't give any personal or financial details
- Forward suspicious messages to 7726 on your keypad
