More than 40 properties are set to be affected by a power cut today.
A total of 43 Electricity North West customers in Seascale are expected to be without power for a period of time today (January 20), as the company carries out a planned power cut.
This will allow engineers to complete necessary works on cables.
It is unknown how long the outage will last for, but the company will restore power as soon as the work is finished.
Properties in the postcodes of CA20 1EX, CA20 1EU, and CA20 1ET are expected to be affected by the cut, and work should last no longer than the one day.
On the ENW website, it states: "We carry out planned power cuts to improve the reliability of your electricity supply and so our engineers can safely work on the cables that provide electricity to your property."
