WORK on the Royal Navy’s next-generation Type 31 frigates is underway with construction beginning on the building hall in Rosyth Scotland on Friday.
Shipbuilders Robertson of Elgin has been awarded a £31.5 million contract by Babcock to build the module hall - to support the building programme, part of Boris Johnson's £16.5bn defence spending boost.
