A further six deaths have been recorded in Cumbria in the past 24 hours, of people who had tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 28 days.
The deaths were recorded between yesterday (November 27) and this morning, with two people from Allerdale, one person from Carlisle, two people from Barrow and one from South Lakeland losing their lives.
No further deaths were recorded in Copeland or Eden.
A total of 54 people also received a positive test for coronavirus in the past 24 hours;
- Allerdale – nine
- Carlisle – 17
- Copeland – five
- Barrow – 10
- Eden – three
- South Lakeland – 10
Under NHS guidance, you should visit your nearest testing centre if you are experiencing;
- a high temperature
- a new, continuous cough
- a loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste
