Children at a West Cumbrian school have raised an outstanding amount for Children in Need.
Arlecdon Primary School pupils in Frizington completed a range of sponsored Act Your Age challenges and aimed to raise £142 – the age of the school.
Children were set a number of sport challenges to match their age including: obstacle courses; exercise classes with Joe Wicks; and creating their own instructional yoga videos.
They absolutely smashed their target by raising almost seven times that amount. The 51 pupils in the school raised a grand total of £1003.50 – an average of £19.67 each.
The school was absolutely delighted with the achievement.
