Changes to bus services
Stagecoach will be making minor changes to some bus routes in Whitehaven. The changes are due to problems with congestion and concerns over social distancing being properly maintained at the Lowther Street bus stops.
From November 30 Stagecoach will be making changes to the 2, 3 and 3A services.
The Service 2 from Kells will continue to depart from Lowther Street but will now drop passengers at Strand Street.
The Service 3 and 3A to Mirehouse, which currently departs from the Lowther Street stop, will, from November 30, be departing from the stop on Strand Street.
Service 3 will also now drop passengers at Strand Street.
However, the 3A service will continue to drop passengers off at Lowther Street.
