At the spookiest time of the year, let’s take a look back on scary goings-on from years past.
Specifically, the not-so-long-ago 2015 celebrations – which feel likes 50 years ago rather than five with this year’s events.
Half a decade ago, youngsters who visited The Beacon, at Whitehaven, were in for a treat, with arts and crafts-galore for all to get involved with.
The session covered everything from creating your very own googly-eyes and masks to meeting Horace the Skeleton – and each and every family had a blast.
And the celebrations continued in Parton, with a special workshop taking place at the village hall.
Children worked together to create ghostly hand puppets and eery gravestones – and of course, to have a fabulous time marking the scariest event of the year!
