An assault in the woods has sparked a police investigation.
Officers are appealing for information on the incident, which saw a group of teenage boys and a teenage girl assaulted by other teens.
The attack took place at about 6pm on Sunday, October 11, in the wooded area by Whitehaven Football Club.
A 15-year-old boy from Whitehaven was arrested on suspicion of assault, and has since been released while police continue their investigation.
Officers are encouraging anyone who witnessed the assault, or who saw any suspicious behaviour around the time of the incident, to come forward.
