A MAN has denied a charge of malicious and unlawful wounding and one of assault.
Robert Clark Hooks, of Egremont, first denied a charge of maliciously and unlawfully wounding Wayne Rudd.
The second charge that he faced, which he again denies, alleges he assaulted Laura Storey. Both incidents are alleged to have taken place on February 9 in Whitehaven.
Hooks appeared before Workington's magistrates' court on Monday
The 38-year-old was granted unconditional bail ahead of his trial.
A date of which has yet to be confirmed.
