An app is available to help the public stay on top of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Government and the NHS are asking the public to download the NHS Covid-19 app to “protect your loved ones”.
The app was rolled-out across England and Wales last Thursday following a successful trial on the Isle of Wight and in Newham, London.
Symptoms can be checked through the app against the latest information on Covid-19 and a notification will be sent to anyone who could be at risk, telling them to self isolate.
A test can be booked at the nearest centre through the app.
Users can check in to a venue, benefitting the track and trace service. The app also lets users know if their postcode becomes a high risk area.
A spokesperson for the NHS said: “The faster you know, the quicker you can alert and protect your loved ones and community.”
The app is free and all data is strictly private.
