Road traffic collision on A595
A motorbike driver was taken to hospital following a crash on the A595.
Police were contacted at around 8.55am today to a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision near Thursby.
It involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Peugeot scooter.
The driver of the motorbike, a 28-year-old man from Wigton, sustained minor injuries and was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary.
He has since been discharged.
