WHITEHAVEN Theatre Group has announced a new production for next Spring.
The amateur society, based at Esk Avenue, has announced it's putting on a production of Kinky Boots from April 20 to 24 next year at the Solway Hall, Lowther Street, Whitehaven.
On its Facebook page the group has announced its production team with Shaun Donald as director, Kayleigh Donald and Jodie Morgan as choreographers, the musical director is Jennifer Daglish and the stage manager will be Beth Lawrence.
The production is a musical with lyrics by pop star Cyndi Lauper - it's based on the 2005 British film of the same name.
Whitehaven Theatre Group was founded in 1970 and celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
Currently its members range from the age of 7 to 81-years-old.
It uses the building on Esk Avenue as a rehearsal space.
