Dog lovers are being urged to get behind a fundraising campaign in aid of Eden Valley Hospice.

Wragg Mark Bell Solicitors is calling on pet owners in Cumbria to take part in their Four-legged 500 challenge.

The solicitors aims to raise £500 through Just Giving to support Eden Valley Hospice which has been hard hit by the coronavirus pandemic with many fundraising events cancelled during lockdown.

The firm has already been able to raise £1,200 for the hospice during Make a Will Month. Sarah Heal, a Wragg Mark-Bell paralegal said: “We like to support local charities and in particular Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw. They are an important part of Carlisle.

“I had a friend who spent time in the hospice before she died last year and I think the work they do is fabulous.”

The dog friendly business is asking the public to take their beloved pet on a walk and donate £5 to their Just Giving page.
