Town council appeals for information after bench is vandalised
Egremont Town Council are appealing for information from residents.
They took to their social media page to ask the public to get in touch if they see any vandalism or abuse to seats or benches in the town.
The appeal follows recent vandalism to a bench outside the Memory Lane cafe, which resulted in the back of the bench getting broken.
The council said: "The seats are not cheap to repair or replace so if anyone notices any abuse of them could they please ring the Council on 01946820254 or e-mail egremontmarkethall@outlook.com"
