A west Cumbrian man has been fined after he damaged a wall belonging to a hospital.
Alexander Noel Harrison, 29, of Hugh Street, Whitehaven, appeared before magistrates at the Workington court on Friday.
He admitted damaging a wall without lawful excuse belonging to the West Cumberland Hospital.
It happened on July 8.
The court heard the wall was worth £500 and Harrison intended to destroy or damage the wall or was reckless as to whether it would be damaged.
Harrison was handed a £52 fine and was ordered to pay £500 compensation to the Whitehaven hospital.
He was also ordered to pay £85 court costs and £34 to fund victim services.
