Emergency services are attending a road traffic collision in Whitehaven.
The accident happened on the A595 Loop Road near The Sunny Hill pub in Whitehaven.
At least two cars have been involved in a collision.
Two police vans and two ambulances are in attendance at the scene.
Police initially closed the road, but are now beginning to direct traffic past the accident.
There are traffic tailbacks at the area.
