Problems have been reported
A BURST water main is currently affecting homes in the Egremont area.
The issue was reported this morning about 7.30am and has hit a number of homes in the CA22 postcode.
A spokesman for United Ultilites said: "You may have noticed that your water has gone off or it’s coming out your tap in a trickle.
"We’ve been out to investigate and found the cause to be a burst water main on Dent View.
"We’re sorry for the inconvenience, our leakage engineers are currently on site and we hope to have your taps flowing again very soon.
"We’ll provide further updates when the repair is complete."
