Police have issued a correction after a reporting a teenager had been assaulted in a pub.
Officers have issued an update stating a 28-year-old man suffered serious leg injuries in a pub in Egremont rather than a 19-year-old.
It happened in the beer garden area of The Wheatsheaf Inn, Market Place, at about7.40pm on Saturday.
A man, 37 from Egremont has been arrested on suspicion of assault GBH and has been bailed.
Police are investigating and are appealing for witnesses to call 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
