Anyone with coronavirus symptoms above the age of five can access tests for Covid-19.
Matt Hancock, health secretary, made the announcement in Parliament this afternoon.
He said the government was expanding eligibility for testing.
So far only key workers, hospital patients, care home residents and over-65s have been able to access tests in England.
