A gym owner will be distributing free meals to NHS staff and essential workers again this week.
Lee Butterworth, who runs Xtreme Fitness at Dobies Business Park Lillyhall, Workington, will be providing packs of seven meals for NHS staff to collect from his car park this Thursday from 12pm to 2pm.
The packs are left at least two metres apart and staff can just call in and pick them up.
Other essential workers, such as carers, will be able to get packs of frozen meals on Friday, from the gym's car park, from 12pm to 2pm.
He has done this for the last few weeks and said he is getting very positive feedback from the frontline workers. He said: "It's been really well received by NHS staff, they are over the moon."
Last week Lee also supported the Distington Big Local group by providing 180 meals for people that are self-isolating in Distington.
