Emergency services rush to collision on A596
EMERGENCY services have been called to a road traffic collision on the A596.
The collision which has happened between Crosby and Crosby Villa has closed the road at Crosby, Allerby junction and at the junction of Bullgill.
Cumbria police say the road is likely to be closed for some time while collision inquiries are ongoing and ask road users to seek alternative routes.
Motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
