ONE BRADFORD school is closed for the third day in a row.
More than 100 schools were fully or partially shut on Monday after early-morning snow showers led to travel issues during rush-hour.
There was also increased rainfall that day, with the snow also melting.
This compounded the devastating effects of Storm Ciara and Dennis which battered Bradford and left many areas flooded.
One of the worst hit areas was Cottingley and Dixons Cottingley Academy remains closed today due to continued flooding.
The issue first arose on Monday and the school then announced it would be shut on Tuesday as well.
But, late last night Dixons Cottingley issued a statement on social media website, Twitter.
It said: "The academy is closed on Wednesday, February 26.
"We have been working with external agencies today and will continue tomorrow to clear the site.
"We expect to reopen on Thursday, February 27."
The school is open to staff, according to Bradford Council's website.
Cottingley was one of two Bradford areas hit with a flood warning on Monday.
The Environment Agency announced that properties around the Bradford and Bingley Sports Club were at risk of flooding.
Four Bradford schools were closed yesterday.
This included, Beechcliffe Special School, Dixons Cottingley Academy, Foxhill Primary and Home Farm Primary.
