YOBS dumped a large fridge freezer on a rural road in Copeland.
The chest freezer was fly-tipped on the road leading to Low Moresby, and has now been removed by Copeland Council's waste team at a cost to the taxpayer.
The council is asking anyone with any information relating to this incident, to get in touch.
Fly-tippers can be slapped with a £250 fixed penalty notice by the council.
The authority can also prosecute more serious cases of fly-tipping, which is punishable by a fine of up to £50,000 or 12 months’ imprisonment if convicted in a magistrates’ court.
Copeland Council charges £25.50 for a three-item bulky waste collection.
