Collision on M6 after motorist drives wrong way in chase with police
AN EARLIER collision on the M6 Northbound has now been cleared.
The M6 in Lancashire was closed between junctions 33 and 34 following a crash.
Emergency services were on the scene and closed the road for a number of hours.
The road has since reopened and traffic has returned to normal after.
A spokesperson for Highways England said: "There was a vehicle driving the wrong way down the motorway on the northbound carriageway.
"It was a police pursuit.
"There was a two vehicle crash."
