BOSSES from a Barrow restaurant and takeaway have apologised after failing to meet a backlog of orders on Valentine's day.
Popular Italian eatery Mario House said several orders were unfulfilled or delivered late on a busy night.
The team said it fell behind but did not want to stop taking orders.
A post on the restaurant's Facebook page said: "We would like to offer sincere apologies to any customers whose order we could not fulfill or was delivered later than expected last night.
"With it being valentine's day we did not want to disappoint anyone by stopping taking orders but this was an oversight on our part and we ended up getting behind. Again we offer our apologies to our lovely customers and we will do all we can to ensure this does not happen again."
