police appeal for information
POLICE are investigating the theft of two high-value mountain bikes from a shed.
The incident is thought to have taken place between 12pm on Monday February 10 and 8pm on Wednesday February 12.
The two bikes are a Canyon Spectral and a GT Sanction - both valued at around £2,000 if bought new - were taken at Stonecroft in Ambleside .
Police are asking anybody with information relating to the incident to call 101 or to contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting log 199 of February 12.
