A Grade II-listed building in a West Cumbrian town is set to go under the hammer with a 'nil' reserve price.
The property in Cleator Moor, will appear at Bond Wolfe Auction’s next auction in Birmingham later this month, with a tempting zero reserve price.
The three-story, mixed-use lot at 13 High Street, is expected to draw competitive bids at the Villa Park auction on February 27.
The Grade II-listed building stands flush to the pavement and was previously used as a hairdresser’s shop, with a duplex flat above.
Ian Tudor, managing director of Bond Wolfe Auctions, said: “This unusual property stands on the main road going through Cleaton Moor and has good footfall next to various shops, pubs, cafes and snack bars.
“With the Cumbrian coast and the beautiful Lake District both just a short drive away, this property could be converted to various uses, subject to planning permission.”
