A590 blocked after collision
THE A590 has now reopened after a collision earlier this morning.
Drivers faced severe delays after an accident near Swarthmoor at around 8am.
Motorists were asked to use alternative routes.
One motorist described the road as 'gridlocked'.
At 9.45am police confirmed the road had reopened.
