Staff and apprentices from GenII and Sellafield have presented Age UK West Cumbria with a cheque.
More than £246.21 was raised by the staff and apprentices.
They collected the money along with presents for the Age UK Christmas Box appeal.
The apprentices managed to collect and donate more than 240 presents to Age UK West Cumbria, which were given to older people who may have been without otherwise.
They were given a tour of the Age UK building in Workington by Chief Executive Officer David Hole and were told about the range of services they offer.
More on the appeal can be found at www.ageuk.org.uk/westcumbria/about-us/news/articles/2019/gen2s-christmas-box-appeal
