A woman who was more than three times over the legal drink-drive limit has been banned from the roads.
Claire Elizabeth Audley, 41, of North Road, Egremont, pleaded guilty to drink driving and also possession of cannabis at West Cumbria Magistrates Court.
The court heard Audley was driving a Mitsubishi Outlander on the A66 at Cockermouth on October 27 last year when the incident occurred.
She was found to have 109mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg.
Audley also admitted being in possession of a quantity of cannabis on the same date.
She has been banned from driving for 25 months, fined £200 in total and must pay £85 costs and a £90 victim surcharge.
Audley must also complete up to 15 days of rehabilitation activity.
If she successfully completes a drink-driver rehabilitation course Audley could see her ban reduced by 25 weeks.
