Barrow Railway Station
A FORMER Barrow councillor has praised train staff after witnessing passengers hurl abuse towards them.
Alec Proffitt sent a tweet to Northern to pay credit to the two employees on the barriers this morning.
He said: "I know that Northern staff get hellish stick most days from disgruntled passengers.
"Just wanna say the two fellas you had at Barrow-in-Furness train station were super friendly, helpful and happy this morning. Lovely blokes."
Northern replied and thanked Mr Proffitt for the feedback.
