A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a car.
Police were called to a crash at Thorny Lane in Thornhill, which was causing congestion to the Egremont bypass.
Delays were also being reported through Egremont and on the B5345.
Cumbria Police was called to the scene at about 6am this morning (January 22).
The motorcyclist has been taken to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle to be checked over, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
There are not believed to be any other injuries.
The road has now been cleared and traffic is returning to normal.
