AN eagle-eyed soap fan spotted a local product on one of the UK's best-loved TV shows.
On Friday night the opening shot of Coronation Street during the adverts showed a brick by a smashed window.
On closer examination the brick is revealed to be one made by Furness Brick in Askam.
The scene happened as Roy attempted to cement his relationship with niece Nina.
As he tries to persuade her to move in with him a brick is thrown through her window.
Established in 1845, Furness Brick is an independent family-run brick manufacturer, specialising in the production of traditional pressed, clamp, handmade facing bricks and pavers.
