CASE: South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court in Barrow
PROSECUTORS have dropped the charges against a Barrow woman accused of assault.
Nina Elizabeth Dougan, of Cross Lane, had been charged with assaulting Daniel Craig in Barrow on October 7.
The 28-year-old had pleaded not guilty when she appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on November 6 and a trial was due to take place.
However, in court on Monday a solicitor for the Crown Prosecution Service confirmed the case had been discontinued and the charges had been dropped.
