A MOTORIST from Barrow has been banned from driving for 18 months.
Andrei Marina, who gave his nationality as Romanian, pleaded guilty to drink-driving when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old admitted driving a BMW in School Street on December 23 when he had 66 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35mcg.
Marina was disqualified for 18 months, fined £120 and told to pay a £32 surcharge and £85 court costs.
