Copeland Council has released opening times for its offices over the festive period.
Offices will be closed from 1pm on Christmas Eve, and will also shut at 3.30pm on Friday, December 20.
The Market Hall and Millom offices will reopen at 9am on January 2.
Distington Hall Crematorium office will close at 1pm on December 24 and will reopen on December 27, and will close again for one day on January 1. The Chapel of Remembrance is open from 9am until 4.15pm every day throughout the Christmas period and is open until 4.30pm on Christmas Eve.
Household recycling and waste collections scheduled between December 25 and 27 will be two days later than normal. Collections scheduled from January 1 until 3 will be one day later than normal
The Beacon Museum will close at 4.30pm on December 23 and will reopen on December 27 and will close again on December 31 and will reopen on January 2.
There will be no markets held in Whitehaven, Egremont or Cleator Moor during the weeks commencing Monday, December 23 and 30. Call 01946 598300 in an emergency.
