A Frizington man has been handed a 20-month driving ban after being caught drink-driving.
John Kevin Carton, 52, of Rheda Park was also fined £270 by magistrates at Workington.
The court heard Carton was driving a VW Caddy on Wellington Row, Whitehaven, on November 22, when the incident occurred.
He had 68mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg.
If he successfully completes a drink-driver rehabilitation course he could see his ban reduced by 20 weeks.
Carton must also pay £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.
